Wellput is an exclusive copywriting agency based in San Francisco that helps frame their clients’ written and spoken words in a way that is powerful, honest and authentic. Over the years, they have helped some of the world’s most established companies tell their stories, including Google, Yahoo, Pottery Barn and Walmart.
Oak were approached to create a bespoke brand identity that avoided visual metaphors such as typewriters, pencils or quills that currently clutter the industries brand landscape and focus on communicating, in the simplest possible way, their passion for creating rock solid written and spoken word.
Our solution was to develop a custom logotype which incorporated a closing quotation mark within the negative space of the letter forms. The closing quotation is a nod to Wellput’s expert ability to help their clients finish what’s been started and to their collaborative and personal approach.
The new branding incorporates a bespoke logotype, responsive website and printed collateral.
